How do you bill for your services?

Our standard billing procedure is to bill monthly. We require payment upon receipt of our invoice. Standard forms of payment are accepted including credit cards and digital payment services.  We accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discovery credit cards We accept Zelle

What hours are you available?

We are available during normal business hours, which are 9:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. During tax season, we are available on Saturdays and most Sundays. We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend consultations. We respond to emails after hours as time permits.

How do I gain access to the Client Portal  -Smart Vault?

Upon becoming our client, we will send a secure link to sign up. All information which must be sent securely will be sent through the client portal. We have partnered with SmartVault, an award winning online document storage and file sharing solution company.  

What role do you play if the IRS audits me?

If we have prepared the income tax return being audited, we will spend up to one full hour with you at no charge, going over the return in question with you. After that, our regular fees apply.

How much and what kind of preparation do you need for my return?

For Individual tax returns:

We prefer that your tax information be sent to us via our secure Client Portal – Smart Vault. We will send you a complete tax organizer to assist you in gathering your information. 

For business tax returns:

We prefer that your information is contained in a computer accounting program, but we have taken materials in almost every imaginable form. Contact Us with questions about specific software packages that we support. Most of our clients use Intuit’s Quickbooks. 

How long should I retain my tax records and tax returns?

For tax returns, we recommend indefinitely.

For documentation that supports your tax return, we recommend no less than four years after the filing of your tax returns.
